Italian Mid-Century is a source for 20th century lighting from Italy with a focus on Italian mid-century modern. Art Deco, 1940’s Hollywood Regency, 1950’s modern, 1960’s Mod and space age, as well as 1970’s chrome, brass and glass chic are all reflected in lighting designs produced by Italy’s best designers and manufacturers. They are the perfect complement for classic modern as well as cutting edge furniture and interiors. Modern lighting of Venetian glass from Murano, brass, enamel, chrome, plastic, marble and steel are a few of the materials used by desingers Carlo Scarpa and Tony Zuccheri for Venini, Gio Ponti for Fontana Arte, and Joe Colombo for Stilnovo, Targhetti and Kartell.
